Mar 31, 2012 · This also happened to me. I moved to college and purchased an Airport Express. The router works and is set up (all devices connect to the internet). I turn on the Apple TV and it has only the Computers and settings. Even after connecting via ethernet and/or wifi i have the same problem.

Both apple tv's, when turned on today only showed the computer and settings icons. I tried all other suggestions listed (reset, unplug, change location - although one apple tv would not even show the country list for locations - ) and after reset, the apple tv couldn't find my network.
